With a background in teaching and educational content development, Thomas is thrilled to bring his experience to Rise students and their families.

He has worked as a high school English and social studies teacher, helping at-risk students reignite their passion for learning and prepare for life after graduation. He developed his high school's first ACT preparation class, which helped most juniors raise their scores and qualify for the TN Hope Scholarship.

Since leaving the classroom, Thomas has partnered with some of the largest companies in the education field to produce study guides, practice tests, informational blog posts, and other engaging content. He also mentors college applicants, providing feedback on admission essays and offering custom-tailored advice.
