Flora is based in the UK and holds an MSc in Comparative and International Education from the University of Oxford. She graduated from Oxford with high distinction, ranking top in her cohort for her dissertation achievement. Having attended Ellesmere College, one of Britain’s renowned elite boarding schools for her secondary education, Flora possesses a deep understanding of the British independent school system and opportunities it offers, particularly for international students. Her past academic research interests have also explored cross-cultural elite education experiences, with a specific focus on Chinese students in prestigious global academic settings.
Before joining Crimson, Flora built an extensive career in the educational policy sector, working with colleagues from leading international institutions such as the department of Education UK, the World Bank, UNICEF, and the International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) at UNESCO.
With a deep-rooted passion for social justice in education, Flora has worked with children with special educational needs (SEN) in mainstream UK boarding schools and taught critical literacy to children from ethnic minority backgrounds in rural China. Her vast experience across the UK and China reflects her commitment to creating inclusive and empowering learning environments.
